Finally took the Plunge into 3d printing by buying an Ender 3 pro. I decided to go for the pro model primarily because it had a brand name power supply, as its pretty much the same as the non pro version.
Assembly took about an hour and a half to build. The guide was well done with pictures of every step. Leveling the bed took me awhile to try to get done. I was having an issue leveling until I went on youtube and following a guide and used his gcode test to level the bed.
My first print was the test dog that creality supplies on the sd card. After about 2.30 hours it print that was finished shifted and it started printing on side. major fail 🙁
I realised the x axis belt seemed a bit loose so i tightened it up and bit and tried printing the infamous benchy 3d print. and Success more or less. I think theres a bit of over extrusion on the boat but its my first successful print!
